Do you need an eyewear prescription to see well, but don’t enjoy wearing glasses full time?  Have you been told in the past that you aren’t a good candidate for contacts lenses because of astigmatism, bifocals, or dry eye?  Dr. Kelli Regier-Hermon enjoys working with you to find a contact lens that will work well for you.  In order to be fit for contact lenses, a contact lens evaluation will need to be performed in addition to your annual eye examination.  This evaluation includes discussing your specific needs from a contact lens and any problems that you have experienced with contact lenses in the past, taking measurements that are specific to fitting contact lenses, and 60 days of follow-up care (or the follow-up period determined by your vision insurance policy) in order to determine the best contact lens for your eyes.  This evaluation is performed annually for all contact lens wearers in order to determine that the contact lens prescription, comfortable fit, and material are all appropriate for your individual eyes.

If you are an established patient at our practice and have a current contact lens prescription, we are happy to offer the convenience of ordering your contact lenses through our website!  Just click on the button and you will be directed to the ordering website for contact lenses.  Of course, you can always call our office at 816.635.2211 to place your order as usual if you prefer.
